What is the negative side effects to taking the weight loss pill, Hydroxy cut Hardcore? Is it healthy?

By admin · Saturday, February 28th, 2009 · 2 Comments »

I'm 23 years old and I'm trying to lose 40 pounds, and I need to find a healthy solution to losing this weight. Is the best way to losing this weight just to reduce my calorie intake and exercise or should I mix in a diet pill?

diet pills do nothing for you. its just a waste of money. no pill is going to make you lose weight HEALTHY!! and keep it off. most of those pills take away core body fat which comes back as soon as you stop taking them or stop working out.

the best way to lose weight is to eat a diet high in fiber (so you have more bowel movements) and to eat lots of protien (so that you arent feeling hungry all the time) and to eat lots of vegetables!!! along with a good workout. at least 30 minutes a day but an hour is better.

you wont lose 40lbs overnight. thats a lot to lose and chances are you might lose a lot at first. probably the first 10lbs and then after that you'll find you have to work a bit harder to get the rest of but if you stay consistant you'll see results.

What are the solutions to problem of promoting healthy dietary habits?

By admin · Saturday, February 28th, 2009 · 3 Comments »

It’s not about the food.
Every obese person knows that they eat too much. So lecturing them about what, and how much to eat are a waste of time. They have heard it all before…and they either can’t help themselves, or don’t care.
There is a pyschological component that needs to be dealt with first, and that’s not a job for nutrionists. You need to swim upstream, to where the problem starts, and not just wait to deal with the symptoms. In my experience, invariably there is some history of personal trauma, crisis, OCD, or self-esteem issues affecting the persons behavior much more than a simple lack of knowledge about the dangers of overeating.
In rare cases, dealing with the calories and exercise issues may help a patient. You can find those people pretty quickly, and succesfully help them. For everyone else, a more effective approach has to involve a team of medical professionals, each dealing with a specific causal component.

How can I make natural healthy lemon aid?

By admin · Saturday, February 28th, 2009 · 6 Comments »

I have a lemon tree in my back yard and I'm probably the only person with one in my city in Arizona. So I want to take advantage to it and heck make lemon aid. But what's a healthy way to make lemon aid, and I say healthy because a lot of people make lemon aid by just adding a pound of sugar and I prefer a healthy solution.

I live in Az also, and have a citrus trees. Try honey as a sweetener. Got lots of good honeys to choose from in AZ.

i hate exercising more than anything; it hurts and i have no time.

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have lean meat (protein) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, past etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
